Standards for Products used in Cleaning and Treating Indoor Air Quality Issues

In order for a product to be classified as “Green” and recommended for use in Indoor Air Quality Issues it must meet the standards established by the National Association for Moisture Management (NAMM).

1. OSHA documentation that the products have been successfully tested for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s).

2. An independant toxicology white paper indicating the products residuals are safe.

3. Tests on various building materials by an independent mycologist demonstrated in a laboratory environment that the products successfully cleaned any excessive mold and bacteria from all building materials.

4. Accredited laboratory reports indicating that use of the products in actual mold remediation have resulted in a reduction in mold levels below the clearance standards established by NAMM.
